ITAC ABSTRACT GUIDELINES

  • Abstract must be written in one paragraph only (250 words).

  • Abstract must be written in English or Malay with no grammatical errors.

  • A good abstract should contain background, problem statement, objective, novelty, benefits to society and commercialization potentials.

ITAC VIDEO PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

The video presentation must not exceed 5 minutes.

The video will be judged based on the following criteria :

  • Technical aspects including clarity and quality of visuals (lighting) and audio (sound)

  • Content of the presentation (e.g. interesting, relevant, clarity of ideas, creative)

  • Delivery of the presentation (e.g. clear speech/pronunciation, dynamism)

The video presentation can be in the form of presenter(s) appearing in the video presenting the product, and/or the use of PowerPoint slides accompanied by voiceovers.

 

Video presentations can be delivered in either one of the following languages :

  • Bahasa Melayu

  • English Language

  • Mandarin with English /Bahasa Melayu subtitle. 

  • Arabic with English/Bahasa Melayu subtitle

The video must be uploaded on YouTube. Please set the privacy setting to ‘Unlisted’ if you wish to restrict the audience to those who only have access to the link of your video.

PUBLICATION GUIDELINES

  • All accepted extended abstracts will be published in English and Malay as iTAC e-Proceedings with e-ISBN.

  • Kindly use the following format for the extended abstracts submission​

  • Submission deadline: 1st August 2025
